Bike to Buck Bay
Local scenery, Moran State Park, waterfall views, local food and drink.
Depart from our Eastsound location, head out toward Moran State Park, check out a waterfall, tour a local art gallery, visit the township of Olga and Buck Bay Shellfish farm, and then head back through the state park to ride back to Eastsound.
Washington weather could mean rain, keep this in mind and bring layers! Water and sunscreen are also important! Be sure to bring a method of payment if you would like to purchase food and drink at Buck Bay Shellfish farm or at any point on the tour. You may bring a pack with you if you want but know that any purchases can be brought back for you by your guide.
This is an extended tour that requires effort and comfort biking on roads, only offered to cyclists 16 years and older.
Trips will meet at Orcas Bikes 423 Prune Alley in Eastsound just before departure time to check in, sign waiver documents and talk about bike safety.
We have a 25% non-refundable deposit/cancellation fee. Your trip is transferable until 72hrs before your departure. No-shows will be charged in full. Orcas Bikes may cancel tours due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, you will be refunded in full. If you have to cancel within 72hrs, you will be charges 100%, unless we are able to resell your tickets.
